There are three different types of discounts/adjustments that can be applied to an order: Order Percentage, Line Percentage, and Line Adjustment. Additional discounts can be added with new names under Maintenance>Orders & Items> Discounts & Adjustments however they must always fall under one of the previously mentioned types. Order Percentage discount makes an adjustment to the whole order. Line Percentage discount will adjust the selected order line by a specified percentage. Line Adjustment discount will amend the Line value by a specified value. In the example to the right Corporate Discount and Frequency Discount are being used as Line Percentage discount types. The Miscalaneous Discount is a Line Adjustment discount type. The Agency Discount below the Sub total is being used as a Order Percentage Discount. |
